Conservation Detection & Nosework Seminar 2025

Event • 11 February 2025

We are beyond excited to share the success of the Conservation Detection & Nosework Seminar 2025, which we had the privilege of co-hosting with Dogs with Jobs. The event took place from 28 - 30 January 2025 at the picturesque Holne Park House in the River Dart Country Park in Devon, UK.

It was truly an honor to work alongside some incredible mentors and experts in the field, including Paul Bunker of Chiron K9 and Debi DeShon of Dogs with Jobs and Mussel Dogs. Their knowledge and experience added so much value to the event, and we couldn't have asked for better people to share this experience with.

The seminar itself turned out to be a massive success! We had a fantastic time meeting and chatting with everyone who attended, and, of course, doing what we all love—training. The energy was incredible, and we were all excited to share insights and learn from one another. A special highlight on Day 1 was the visit from Woodside Animal Welfare Trust, who brought along two amazing dogs, Henry and Blue, both of whom are still looking for their forever homes. We were so touched by the opportunity to meet these dogs and share their story with attendees.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the seminar and helped make it such a great success. Your participation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn made the event truly memorable. We also want to express our gratitude to Holne Park House for their warm hospitality and for providing such a lovely setting for the seminar. Your accommodations and support during our stay were greatly appreciated. A big thank you to Debi and Paul for their expert mentorship throughout the seminar—your guidance and insights were invaluable to everyone involved. Finally, we want to recognize and thank our incredibly generous sponsors: Getxent, LickiMat, Kong, Tractive, LMNT, and The Dog First Aid Co. Your support made this event possible, and we are so grateful for your contributions.

We're already looking forward to the next opportunity to come together and continue working on our shared mission to enhance detection dog training and conservation efforts. Thank you again to everyone who made the Conservation Detection & Nosework Seminar 2025 an event to remember!
